Full Moon Solstice Gathering

Offered by Heart & Mind Equine Rescue. Meet our rescued therapy horses, explore our volunteer program, and learn about holistic horse keeping and equine-assisted services (e.g., therapy, coaching, leadership, and team building with horses). No experience is necessary. All our welcome, including both horse and mental health professionals.

FULL MOON SOLSTICE GATHERING: Early summer and the summer solstice are a time of tremendous light and productivity and yet, one week after the solstice we find the dark slowly returning and the full moon rising. The rhythms of the Earth and the changing seasons ground us in the present moment. The horse herd lives always with mindfulness in the present moment: They are where their feet (hooves) are. Humans can learn and grow through time spent observing and joining the horses. Come for a gentle exercise of grounding and presence followed by a fun activity of learning from the herd.

Curious about Equine Assisted Services? Speaking Horse is not therapy, but it is an opportunity to get a “taste” of our work with our equine colleagues since we use some of the same tools and exercises in both settings. Come out and meet the herd (both humans and horses) connected with Heart & Mind Equine.

By signing below, I agree not to disclose any client names, treatment information or identifying information pertaining to any client, past, present or future, of Alane Freund, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT36077), Sara Moss, Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT141374 Supervised by Kelsey Wunderle LMFT131684 ), Heart and Mind Equine (hereafter referred to Heart & Mind Equine) to anyone not affiliated with Heart & Mind Equine. This confidentiality agreement is effective on the date of the signing of this agreement and is forever binding after my association with Heart & Mind Equine ends.

Sometimes things happen. If you can't make it to the event, we appreciate your donation and hope to see you next time. If you would like a refund, here are our policies:
- Cancellations prior to 7 days before event will be refunded minus 20% administration fee
- Cancellations 1-7 days prior to the event will be refunded at 50%
- Cancellations in the last 24 hours prior to the event will not be refunded
